| Military Intelligence Museum, Chicksands A superb guided tour of the Intelligence Corps museum, the Medmenham collection of air photography, the USAF at Chicksands and Y Service rooms - which together form the Military Intelligence museum at Chicksands. A terrific visit and much enjoyed by all. |
| RAF Lyneham A visit to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, which is home to the RAF's Tactical Ait Transport Force - the Hercules, operated by four sqaudrons. An excellent visit and we thank our hosts for a superb base visit. |

| XH558 at Bruntingthorpe MKAS were treated to a personal guided tour of the home of the Vulcan Operating Company and XH558, a unique chance to pay homage to their magnificent achievement of restoring this aircraft to flight. |

| North Weald Airfield With grateful thanks to Nigel Kemp and Roger Syratt, MKAS had an excellent morning tour of North Weald airfield, which included the revetements and hangars, finishing at the airfield museum. A great visit and thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. |

| Battle of Britain Ops Room - RAF Uxbridge The bunker at RAF Uxbridge was headquarters of No 11 (Fighter) Group, who were responsible for the defence of South East England, and is now a museum depicting a day in the battle. An excellent visit and thoroughly recommended to anyone interested in the Battle of Britain. |
| RAF Bentley Priory Due to be sold to a developer later in 2008, this was perhaps the last chance to tour the historic buildings and see the home of Fighter Command during World War II, including the grade 2 listed officers mess. Lord Dowding's office was preserved as a museum to his memory. |

| Halton Officers Mess A visit to this splendid building, one of seven owned by the Rothschild family in the area. This was combined with a visit to the Aces High aviation art gallery in nearby Wendover. |

| Wartime Heritage trip to Kent A fantastic full day trip to by coach to visit the Battle of Britain museum at RAF Hawkinge, the Capel-le-Ferme memorial, with a superb lunch at the Cat and Custard Pot, and was then followed by a tour of the secret Wartime Caves at Dover. A superb day out and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who took part. |
