Our perspectives
We are an enthusiasts group run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, but with
many extra benefits and activities for our members to get involved in.
We also see things from several different perspectives –
•
From an enthusiasts point of view.
•
From an pilots point of view.
•
From the airfields – Sywell, North Weald, Cranfield, Panshanger.
•
From the authorities – CAA & LAA requirements.
Our Aims
• To continue our work promoting
aviation in all its forms.
• To
continue our work promoting youth education to foster a greater interest
in the younger generation for a career in aviation.
• To
work with enthusiasts to ensure fair representation (many of our members
are part of the LAAS (taess), Heathrow, Luton and other Airport Watch
schemes) which we actively promote awareness of and compliance with.
To represent approximately 6,000 enthusiasts on the Light Aircraft Association National Council (NC) and to take their views and comments into account so that we can work together for the mutual benefit of all and of General Aviation. • To continue to be THE Aviation Society for Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
