Author Dave Ross presented the story of Richard Hillary, famous as the author of "The Last Enemy", plus a look at the history of 603 Squadron on which he served.

Robert Rudhall, former Assistant Editor of FlyPast magazine, is
the expert on this subject.  He brought a wealth of knowledge of the worldwide aircraft preservation movement as well as some excellent film footage.

Chipmunks Around the World
A talk by Sqn Leader Bill Purchase MBE on the 1997 circumnavigation of the globe by two RAF Chipmunks to mark their final year in regular military service.
MEETING WAS CANCELLED
This meeting was cancelled due to the atrocities which took place earlier that day in New York, Washington D.C. and near Johnstown, PA, USA.

Royal Air Force Shawbury
A talk by Sqn Leader Mike Locke RAFR on the history of this long-established RAF station, currently home to the Defence Helicopter Flying School and a major aircraft storage facility.
